What in the world is TastemakerX?
Collections are at the core of the TastemakerX experience - by adding records you will add an Artist to your collection, share your taste, earn points and Notes, and ultimately kick off all of our discovery and recommendation algorithms.
Search for an Artist you love or believe in and add their records. Be sure to enter the number of records you would like to add - this can be any number from 1 - 10,000 and is usually based on some combination of how expensive the Artist is and how much you want to say "I love this band!"
This is based on activity points earned in the game and your net worth, along with a couple other factors (like how often you play).
Points are awarded for a variety of actions that you do (like trading, sharing, et al) and are done to you (like if you are followed or given props). The more activity points you have, the higher your T-Score will be and the greater the impact you will have.

Skills are achievements that revolve around things you can do in the game, like adding or sharing, and the more you do, the more levels you can attain. Every time you reach a new level you get a bonus of activity points and/or Notes.
